Robert Field
Robert Field has lived and worked in the south coast region of Western Australia for most of his life.
He has been involved in agriculture his whole career and is passionate about the ongoing viability and succession of farming in WA.

Robert grew up on a family farm of 2400 ha at Hopetoun WA on the south coast. He went on to farm with his parents and eventually owned the business.
​
The farm was sold in 2001 and Robert completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness Marketing at Curtin University’s Muresk campus.
Robert passed with distinction and received the 2005 Grains Institute Scholarship. He also received membership to the Golden Key Honour Society.
​
Following university Robert was Operations Manager for Sustainable Forestry Management Australasia. This was a project management role of developing the land into efficient profitable property conglomerates and planting forestry for future carbon sinks and environmental remediation.
​
The properties were located at Jerramungup WA (11,769 ha) and Padthaway SA (4240 ha).
Robert has now joined Fourways Group as a consultant and finance broker.
His skills are budgeting, finance, machinery and farm purchase assessment, livestock and crop rotation and enterprise comparison, farm viability evaluation, grain marketing options, agronomy and succession planning.
